Growing fast since 2017. | | **ICRA** - IEEE Int'l Conf. on Robotics and Automation | Conference (annual, May) | Largest robotics conference; broad scope; IEEE RAS flagship. | | **IROS** - IEEE/RSJ Int'l Conf. on Intelligent Robots and Systems | Conference (annual, fall) | Second largest; emphasis on intelligent systems. | | **Humanoids** - IEEE-RAS Int'l Conf. on Humanoid Robots | Conference (annual) | Specialized; the canonical humanoid venue. | **Worth also tracking:** ICAR (Int'l Conf. on Advanced Robotics), ISRR (Int'l Symp. on Robotics Research, every 2 years - invite-only), Field & Service Robotics (FSR), RoboCup Symposium, ROSCon (community/dev), ICLR/NeurIPS/ICML (have growing robot-learning tracks). **Workshops at ICRA, IROS, RSS, CoRL** are often where state-of-the-art is presented before journal publication. Skim the workshop lists every year - they're frequently more current than the main proceedings. **arXiv `cs.RO`** is where most papers land before/after publication.
